Come enjoy all that Narragansett, RI has to offer from our newly renovated three and a half bedroom home on Great Island. Take in the salt water views from the large wrap around porch, second story deck and the yard. Just 1 mile from Salty Brine Beach, 2 miles from Sand Hill Cove Beach and 3 miles from Scarborough Beach this newly renovated and newly furnished home is ideal for summer fun with the family or an off-season weekend getaway. There's plenty of room for several couples or two entire families vacationing together. After a day at the beach let the kids run around in the yard on this quiet island yet you are less than a mile from some of the town's best seafood restaurants and the historic fishing port of Galilee where the Block Island Ferry departs. This is our vacation home, not an investment property. We acquired the property in the spring of 2007 and completely renovated it top to bottom in 2008. The gallery has photos of all the rooms and furnishings. The bedrooms are on the first floor including: bedroom with queen bed, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a bedroom with two twin beds connected to a kids room with bunk beds and daybed. The first floor also has a bathroom with tiled shower and a washer and dryer. Second floor includes: kitchen, dining area, living room with queen size sofa bed, deck, and full bathroom with bathtub/shower enclosure. The house also has a large wrap around porch, with a portion screened in, an outdoor shower with hot & cold water and a large driveway with plenty of off-street parking. Other amenities include wireless high speed internet access, cable TV, DVD player and AM/FM stereo with iPod connection. |
