Water View Home Near Narragansett Beaches

Enjoy bike riding, kayaking, golf, or a walk on the beach.  For a casual bike ride, we have a variety of bikes available.  If you are a golfer, here is a link listing local public courses.  If you like to kayak, the surrounding area (Point Judith Pond) is an ideal location.  And there’s always a good stiff breeze if you enjoy windsurfing or kite flying.

Newport is active all year long with boutiques, galleries, restaurants and cafés.  Tour the mansions, visit the International Tennis Hall of Fame, or walk the cliff walk.

Narragansett in the Spring

Spring-time in Narragansett is a great way to shake off the winter doldrums.   Here are some ideas about what to do before  the crowds start to arrive.

Newport

Outdoor activities

The Southeastern New England Wine Growing Appellation, stretches from Cape Cod and the Islands through the South Coast of Massachusetts and Coastal Rhode Island and Coastal Connecticut and includes 7 wineries.  The common thread through this wine region is close proximity to the Atlantic Ocean and the Southeast facing coastline.  Most wineries here concentrate on white wines and sparkling wines.  Click here for information on tours.

Vineyard Tours

In Narragansett, try Champlin’s, just a mile away, for three kinds of chowder, fresh lobster and other seafood on wooden benches & booths.  For more upscale dining, Spain is a favorite of the locals, Turtle Soup has a dining room with a view of the ocean and the recently opened Trio brings a little bit of Newport panache to Narragansett.
